A Neighborhood Meeting has been scheduled on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 7:00pm at City Hall Council Chambers to consider the following item:

ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT NO. ZTA 09-02, amending the adopted "Waterfront District Master Plan," Historic Town Center Sub-District Plan-Phases I and II," a request to allow previously-prohibited Public and Civic Uses, Office and Professional Uses, and Commercial/Service/Retail Uses listed in Table 3.6.0.1, Table A-"Allowed, Conditionally and Prohibited Uses" in Block 1a, also known as the "Railroad Avenue Live-Work Units" located on the west side of Railroad Avenue between Sycamore Avenue and Bayfront Boulevard. The applicant is the Planning Department of the City of Hercules, 111 Civic Drive, Hercules, CA, 94547.

The Neighborhood Meeting will be held in the Hercules City Council Chambers and is open to the public. A public hearing will also be held on July 20 at the regularly scheduled Planning Commission Meeting.

PURPOSE OF MEETING
The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from the existing neighborhood on the proposed changes expanding the permitted commercial land uses to the existing 17 Railroad Avenue Live-Work units.
